About

Iron Range Trail Club was formed in year 2000.

Iron Range trail Club was formed in 2000 and is the current club today! The first Tucker Groomer was purchased in 1985. Today we have 3 Tucker Groomers, with a team of groomer operators they are out there on the trails making sure they are maintained and safe. We have to make sure that the signage is up and private land owners are respected. We have several private property owners that our trails go through. The Gates open Dec. 1st (depending if we have snow) and they close April 1st. The Trail maintenance is done in the fall. The club makes sure there are no trees on the trail and make sure the trails are wide enough for the groomer to go through. Club Officers : President: Nick Wiegand Vice President: Gordy Robinson Treasurer: Bonnie Weatherholt Secretary: Shelly Fiszer There are 135 current club members. If you want to become a member just call the club house or email the club house at ironrangetrailclubinc@gmail.com

Karen Bond pasted away Oct. 11 2015. Karen was on the board of directors and served as treasurer of our club and also for the Northwoods Animal Shelter. She was an avid Chicago Bears Fan and enjoyed her dogs Lexi And Sophie. She also enjoyed Four wheeling, snowmobiling, boating on Sunset Lake and fishing. The trail she loved most was trail #107, so give her a wave as you ride down the trail. She will be missed. Click here for our latest newsletter. Click here to see our ad in the Winter Fun Guide.
